The FARMA LF8 is a compact 8-wheel forwarder with good manoeuvrability in rough terrain and dense forests. With the LF8, you get an efficient thinning forwarder with high performance.

The FARMA LF8 is gentle on the environment in which it operates. The low weight of the forwarder together with a minimal tyre ground pressure results in a
machine that leaves the smallest possible footprint in the forest. That has been accomplished through a transmission, where we optimize the speed of each wheel in the forest. Always with 100% optimal power distribution.
GET THROUGH TOUGH AND DENSE TERRAIN
The FARMA LF8 is a powerful machine that gets the job done. Thanks to its width of only 2.2 meters (600 tires) and a large turning angle of 50°, the machine operates efficiently in the forest without traditional base roads.
The location of the steering joint in combination with the transmission's adjustment of wheel speed ensures the machine to track when turning.

During the development of the LF8, the focus has been on designing a machine with high ground clearance but which at the same time stands stable and safe during crane work and driving in difficult terrain. This has been achieved by optimizing the placement of heavy components, for the best possible weight distribution.

The choice of cranes is from our own FARMA range. Customize the machine according to your conditions and wishes. For the LF8, we offer cranes from 6.7 up to 8.5 meters as well as grapples in sizes 0,20 to 0,28.
The high oil capacity provides opportunities for demanding accessories such as a brash cutter, flail mower or a harvester head.

The diesel engine from Caterpillar is a modern and reliable 136hp engine that fulfils all present emissions standards. An engine to trust and with the power to do any job. Should the need exist, Caterpillar offers one of the worlds most extensive support networks.
A GOOD WORK ENVIROMENT
FARMA LF8 has, for its machine size, a very spacious and comfortable cab with ergonomic solutions to optimize the operator's working day. Visibility in the cabin is good in all directions. Skylights are included as standard. The cabin is well ventilated and equipped with heating and AC as standard.
In the standard version, the chair is mechanically sprung. Air suspension and seat heating are available as options.
The majority of all functions are gathered in the mini levers. The machine is controlled easily and comfortably with the levers. Settings are managed via the easy-to-understand touch screen.
EASY TO SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
The construction of the LF8 contributes to durability. The focus has been set on service access. When the cab is tilted, spacious access to all service points is provided. A simple and cost-effective service is made possible by having few bearings, joints, and unique service parts. Our technical support can remotely connect to the machine for analysis, troubleshooting or software update.
